Editor, Writer, Content Creator

Hi, there! I'm Brooke Kosofsky Glassberg,
a journalist with over a decade of experience at some of the biggest women's brands in the country. My beats are real-world fashion, lifestyle, and travel—if it makes her life easier, it's worth talking about.

I left print for e-commerce in 2014, when I became the editor and copywriter at Bare Necessities. I've been charged with creating a brand voice and implementing a content strategy while running the Bare it All blog and writing weekly marketing campaigns.

For three-plus years, I was the senior editor at Good Housekeeping, turning long, boring lab test results from the Good Housekeeping Research Institute into engaging service stories on everything from pillows to 3D printers. I wrote fashion and home stories, plus the annual Best Toy Awards, VIP Awards, Gift Guide, and car test.

Before that, I was the fashion features editor at O, The Oprah Magazine, where I conceptualized, assigned, reported, edited, and wrote for the FOB and Well style pages. I edited Dr. Phil and Suze Orman and interviewed the likes of Sheryl Crow, Sofia Vergara, Mary-Louise Parker, Pat Field, and Vera Wang.

I also edited and produced six Oprah anthologies: O's Best Advice Ever!; Love Your Life!; Dream Big!; O's Big Book of Happiness; O's Guide to Life, and the O, The Oprah Magazine Cookbook. (Side note: How lucky am I?)

I cut my proverbial teeth as an assistant at Vitals Man and Vitals Woman, twin luxury lifestyle magazines back when that was still a thing. I've written for Glamour, New York Magazine, Travel+Leisure, Budget Travel, Consumer Reports' ShopSmart, Food Network, Yahoo, WebMD, JANE, and YM, where I was an ASME intern.

Now and then, I play food critic for the Newark Star-Ledger Munchmobile and write for my hometown newspaper. I graduated summa cum laude from NYU with dual majors in Journalism and Gender Studies and live in the wilds of New Jersey with my exceptionally adorable husband and kid.
